Seasonnaire sessions are there to help transform your skiing taking it to the next level. Giving you techniques and tactics to help you ski the whole mountain both on and off piste. Weekly instruction will rapidly increase your confidence helping you get the most from your winter season, as well as getting the opportunity to meet like minded skiers.
The group is suitable if you can confidently ski on piste, have skied off piste but sometimes possibly without style, but want to build your confidence and technique to ski anything the big mountain throws at you. During these sessions you will be given simple techniques to ski powder, steeps, ice, bumps & chopped up powder. At the same time receiving safe travel and mountain awareness skills. Having a goal(s) you would like to achieve by the end or before the end season is a great way to approach these sessions. The sessions are run on a weekly basis for 3hrs.
Seasonnaire programme is headed up by Dee O'Neill. It has been running for the last 6 years and has grown in popularity. Dee has a great knowledge of the local ski terrain on and off piste. She is also passionate about ski teaching and has the ability to create a fun learning environment even in the most challenging of situations. When she is not ski teaching she is generally on ski touring/off piste adventures in search of new challenges!
The group is suitable for you if you can already ski and are skiing with you skis parallel on red pistes 95%of the time.
If you are in resort for the season and are unsure if you are up to the level for the group please email Shona in the office and she will give you some advice on how we can help you develop.
